Weight of Thought Print
Many of us struggle with mental health issues – sometimes we share our experiences while other times we battle quietly where no one can see. My print series for September is a walk through my personal experiences and struggles with mental health.
This piece, while rougher and more unfinished in appearance than the others, focuses on invasive thought and the deep overbearing weight that can extend even into physical sensation. Difficult invasive thoughts aren’t clean or polished and can many times push you deeper down with thoughts of worthlessness, haunting imagery, and unanswered or unanswerable questions. I hoped to capture my experiences with invasive thought here.
Maybe you’ve struggled with something that resonates here or maybe these pieces will help to give a glimpse into some of the ways that (at least one person) experiences the journey.
This print is sized at 11×17 inches.
