Me-Shaped Hole Print
Many of us struggle with mental health issues – sometimes we share our experiences while other times we battle quietly where no one can see. My print series for September is a walk through my personal experiences and struggles with mental health.
This piece focuses on the feelings of emptiness that we try to fill with different things, people, and activities. In my own journey of mental wellness, my therapist pointed out how so many outside factors filled me with stress, doubt, and sorrow but ‘how is Fox doing’? Who am I on my own? What do I want and feel? I’ve always envisioned the best me is one that is completely whole in and of myself – knowing my worth, loving myself completely flaws and all.
Maybe you’ve struggled with something that resonates here or maybe these pieces will help to give a glimpse into some of the ways that (at least one person) experiences the journey.
This print is sized at 11×17 inches.
