Many of us struggle with mental health issues – sometimes we share our experiences while other times we battle quietly where no one can see. My print series for September is a walk through my personal experiences and struggles with mental health.
This piece focuses on anxiety. Inspired by a guided meditation in which you’re instructed to envision sending all of the feelings of anxiety and stress just outside of your body and take it into your hands then observe it. For me, it looked like an orb of restless rats climbing over one another trying to get out.
Maybe you’ve struggled with something that resonates here or maybe these pieces will help to give a glimpse into some of the ways that (at least one person) experiences the journey.
This print is sized at 11×17 inches.
